At Cultivating With Sandra, we are entering an exciting new season of growth—one that goes far beyond what we plant in the soil and reaches into how we nourish our bodies, our families, and our communities.
This year, we are deepening our focus on food as nourishment and medicine, bringing together gardening, herbal education, and hands-on learning in a way that feels both practical and empowering. Everything we do is rooted in one simple belief: when you know how to grow it, you know how to use it.
🌿 Medicinal Mondays — 12:00 PM
Medicinal Mondays are dedicated to learning how plants can support everyday wellness. Each week, we explore herbs, roots, and natural ingredients—many of which can be grown right at home—and discuss how they’ve been used traditionally and how they fit into modern lifestyles.
Recently, we’ve been diving into the world of fermentation, starting with a living ginger bug. This bubbly culture has been quietly doing its work, and soon we’ll be turning it into homemade ginger ale and natural sodas. Fermentation is a beautiful reminder that healing doesn’t have to be complicated—it just takes patience, care, and the right ingredients.
These sessions are about understanding why we use what we use, not just following recipes.
🌱 Thrive Thursdays — 11:00 AM
Thrive Thursdays focus on the garden itself—what to plant, when to plant it, and how to make the most of your space. Whether you grow in raised beds, containers, or directly in the ground, these sessions are designed to remove the guesswork from gardening.
We talk about seasonal planting, soil health, seed starting, and how to grow foods and herbs that directly support your well-being. The goal is simple: grow with confidence and intention.
🌼 Growing for Nourishment
What’s new at Cultivating With Sandra isn’t just a schedule—it’s a shift toward intentional nourishment. We are focusing on how what we grow can support digestion, immunity, energy, and overall wellness. From garden to jar, from seed to sip, everything is connected.
If you’re ready to grow food with purpose, learn how plants support healing, and build a lifestyle rooted in sustainability and wellness, you’re in the right place.
Grow. Nourish. Thrive. 🌿
